These stylish earrings would make a fabulous gift for any star gazer and the 'gem' centerpiece is a photographic image of the iconic Crab Nebula, as viewed by the Herschel Space Observatory and the Hubble Space Telescope. The nebula lies within our own Milky Way Galaxy, and shows the remains of the supernova explosion that was first observed by Chinese astronomers in the year 1054.
These beautiful earrings contain images of the Crab Nebula set under domed crystal clear glass cabochons that magnify and enhance the gems. The bases are nickel free silver plated, the wires are sterling silver and they have transparent Czech lustre glass beads added for extra sparkle! The drop earrings come in 3 options - small are approx 2.5cm long with beads or 2cm without, and the medium earrings are 3cm. long with beads. They are presented in a small jewellery box with an informative photo card.
Please note that this range of jewellery is not guaranteed to be 100% waterproof and therefore should not be worn when bathing.
